We’re celebrating Eid one day early here in London. It’s 5.30 am right now and I’m awake. Too excited eh? lol ^_^

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! *throws confetti*. Hope it’s not too late to ask forgiveness from everyone I have done wrong, be it in the past or maybe recently. Lastly, enjoy your Raya and hols!

Hola guys! I’m back. So there’s an internet connection. Sorry though for the late update. Insert “too tired / jet lagged / lazy / etc” here. ^_^.

We didn’t take a direct flight btw [to Dubai first, then to London]. We were at Dubai for about 6 hours O_O. So it took like 1 day to reach London.

I’m too lazy to write stuff XD. Here are the pictures for the first 2 days [click on the thumbnails]:

~~~
Oooh ooh, yesterday evening when we were on a tube to go back to our apartment, we saw this old couple, both wearing an Arsenal jersey (the white & purple one). They were going to watch yesterday’s match I think, since after that I saw a handful of people wearing Arsenal jerseys. Speaking of the match, seriously what the hell is going on with them??! I want to be in denial cos that’s a much nicer state to be in. But this is disturbing. HULL? No offense to a team who played really well, but goddammit! WE SHOULD NOT BE LOSING to newly promoted teams! We kick ass when it it comes to playing against the stronger teams.. But Fulham & Hull?? Seriously guys. This is disturbing. I think we should start pushing the panic button right now. This is not good. The players were too complacent and I think, too overconfident or something. Le Gaffer should just start the younger players first esp. Vela, just cos they are hungry to prove a point. *sigh* I seriously want to smack their heads. I am so so disappointed. And with a CL match against FC Porto this coming Tuesday, I don’t think I want to know what the outcome will be. *shudder*
Nasri, Dudu, Rosa.. pls come back. *sniff*
On a a totally different note, see what Mr. Crispy Chicken has come up with [click here for the sheer genius]. Come on! Don’t tell me you’re not gay. Cos that? Is GAY on ALL LEVELS.
Cesc Fabregas Soler on the other hand is too cute! See here for prove. shinizzle totally stole my idea to post the cuteness that is that video :p. As if I need prove that he is too freakin’ adorable. And a weirdo. Remember my old post [here!]? With the mushroom phobia, kinder egg fetish and the model pout? Ahh, good times. Cesc is a dork. Cute, but a dork nonetheless. ^_^
Oh and I see that my advice to him has fall on deaf ears. Pfft. I need a scissors like right now.
See? See? Look how cute he is with a shorter hair. Oh Cesc’s short hair, I miss you so *sob*
My flight to London leaves early tomorrow morning (1 am). So maybe I’ll be going on a HIATUS. Maybe, cos I’m not sure if there is an internet connection at the apartment where I’ll be staying at. If yes, I’ll try to update. If not, I’ll see you guys in about 2 weeks or so.
In the meantime, Suri is here to check up on you guys while I’m away ^_^. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. XD.
Take care darlings! Going to miss you guys *hugs*. And not forgetting, to all my muslims readers, Happy (early) Eid Mubarak! Hope you guys will have a great and fun Eid! :)
Random pictures for today.
What we had for buka puase at my makcik’s house. 2 weeks ago. lol. At the top left corner, my fave lauk - daging lemak masak cili api. Nom nom nom. And ade 2 ekor ikan yg beso, one of them ikan masak 3 rasa. Hoho. Byk giler mkn.
Haha. Been busy making cookies for Eid. Just one type though, chocolate chip cookies [x sanggup wat byk2 *_*] My mom insisted that I should make them for her friends and for my aunts and cousins. And right now I think I kind of smell like cookies a little bit ^_^.
Suke sgt bakul/hamper ni. Sgt lawa. Inside there 5 different kinds of cookies + dodol. Beli ni pon sbb nk bg org. Kalo ler aku dpt, buat perhiasan jer.. cos sgt lawa. Haha.
Another bakul/hamper. One of my mom’s students gave this to her.
Biskut mazola adalah biskut kegemaran saye. Haha. Kalo pegi raye umah org, slalunyer muak nk mkn kuih byk2 esp. if pegi byk umah on the same day. But kalo ade biskut ni, mmg fo sho makan nyer. Huhu.
Gah. I’m so so so so (we get it) tired. Didn’t really eat that much today for berbuke. If I’m really tired, I don’t really have an appetite. Not sure why. I need my bed. And I haven’t even packed yet O_O. I do everything at the last minute all the freaking time, it’s RIDICULOUS. Gtg, my bed is calling me. Coming m’dear.
Holy moly batman.
We destroyed a full strength Championship side. And the average age of the team last night? 19. The youngest side ever fielded by Arsenal.
Gah. I’m so proud of my bb!Gooners. I want to squish them *squishes*. Jack scored! [Cesc still holds the record for the youngest ever scorer for Arsenal though, but by only 55 or so days]. Congrats to Vela for his hat-trick! Aaron had a fantastic game apparently, with him taking Cesc’s role in the midfield and providing 2 assists.
From the commentators –> “Do you think Sheffield United are wearing black because they knew what to expect tonight?”
ROFL.
Now, if only I can watch the full match repeat.
Bb!Jack & fierce!Vela
ETA:
I’ve just seen the goal highlights [here]. That backheel pass by Aaron for the 2nd goal was like WOAH. And the 4th goal? Simply superb. All hail Vela!
I love the compliments that the Sheffield United’s boss gave us:
“We all knew they were a good set of lads at Arsenal but before tonight I don’t think anyone realised just how good they are.
“They are the best group of youngsters I’ve ever seen in all my time in the game. Put them against any team in the world of that age and they would walk it.”
“My players told me it was like trying to swat flies. Their speed and movement was unbelievable. The only chance we stood was not getting drawn against them in the first place.”
“I’ve asked Arsene if I can borrow all 11 of them for Saturday. Arsenal are the beacon for English football. They are all geared up for the future.”
