Wheee. I’m so happy with the result. My bb scored! Finally! But damn, he nearly did a hat-trick. Too bad. And God.. the newcastle players were trying to break his left foot, I swear. Stop it already. He was limping when he left the field.
I’m worried. You know how fragile and incident-prone he is. Lets hope it’s not that bad *cross fingers*
Man of the Match: Kung Fu Robin FTW.
I’m so bummed that I missed the cuteness of Robin-Cescy’s free kick discussion. I was in my room looking for my sports shoes (I know, don’t ask). I demand a repeat Astro! And how pretty is Theo? Sooo pretty, even with the goatee. But boo for missing that goal. If that had gone in, it would have been superb with all the passing that went into it. The backpass by Cesc was a-may-zung.
Overall, the boys played spectacularly. Vintage Arsenal, like what the commentator said. Their passings were beautiful. This is why I love them. We’re back on track bb. Lets hope this awesomeness continues. Thank you Cesc for coming back.
Btw,this is his 200th game as an Arsenal player *pets Cescy*
Oh yeah, Barton is a twat. He was booed by his own fans and away fans. lol. God, his face annoys me. Makes me want to smack his head off. I hated how he keeps taunting poor lil’ Nasri. But yeay to Nasri for fighting back. By tripping Barton. Haha. Although he got a yellow card for that.
“This afternoon was death by a thousand passes for Newcastle.” - lol at this.

So on another note, here’s the CL draw:
[Group G]
Arsenal FC
FC Porto
Fenerbahçe SK
FC Dynamo Kyiv
Ugh. Our group is going to be a challenge. Well I’m going to be optimistic and say that it will be a good challenge despite the circumstances. I mean, a challenging group will hopefully keep us focused. I imagine if we got an easier group, we wouldn’t be that hungry for it and we’ll probably underrate the other teams, y’know? Ok, that’s me being optimistic. The pessimistic me on the other hand is worrying about the fact that we don’t do too well in former soviet countries. And I hope to God that all the travelling doesn’t dampen our league campaign. But oh well, the group could be worse I suppose.
In other group news, lol at the fact that kops will be playing against Atletico Madrid. Torres will be seeing his former fans again. Uh-oh.
p/s - shinizzle, I know why Keagan was fighting with Gallas. At the end of the game, Keagan felt the need to wait and ‘have words’ with Nasri for his foul on Barton. Not that Nasri cared. Haha. I think Gallas jumped in to defend him. And dammit, we saw Cesc (sans shirt), who probably was trying to jump into the argument.. BUT the damn camera was switched off before we saw what happened next. Boo.
ETA:
I’ve heard from someone who was there in the stadium during the game, when Joey Barton came on for newcastle, the WHOLE stadium literally chanted –> “You’re supposed to, You’re supposed to, You’re supposed to be in jail! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE IN JAIL!!” Major LOL.
current mood:
- pleased
current music: that’s when i love you - aslyn
