♥ of my life @ 6:19 pm

I still don’t understand why Wenger wouldn’t update the defensive side. From the look of yesterday’s friendly game, it’s still poor. Flamini’s gone, and I can feel his absence. I don’t know who can fill up his role. Denilson? It’s too soon to tell. Gallas still suck. I used to respect him when he was at Chelsea. He used to be a very good defender. But now? Eh. Eboué? *headdesk* The quality of our defense is still the same as last season! Argghhh. And don’t get me started on the Hoyte brothers.

But yeah, I still trust Wenger (as always). I’m just cautious. And kind of pessimistic. Haha. But the attacking side looks awesome. With Vela (GREAT performance in the friendly games, I like the way he moves), Bendtner (he’s hungry to prove a point), Cesc (he didn’t play in any of the pre-season matches, but it’s CESC. Duh~), Persie (although he was kind of rusty yesterday), Clichy (nice assist!), Ramsey, Theo, Nasri and that 16-year-old kid, Wilshere who is kind of SUPERB in both of the friendly games (and to think he’s only 16! - The British press are claiming that he’s the English Fabregas. But I’m kind of scared, cos Arsenal can’t sign him yet for a professional contract. Not until he’s 17.. so I’m hoping that other clubs won’t steal him away from us). And not forgetting Eduardo, after he’s fully recovered of course. And Rosicky. Yeah, I’m just worried bout the back four and the midfield defense. Uhhh.

And this is a good time for me to say, “Fuck you Hleb”. Why won’t you just shut your mouth and play. Is that so freaking hard?! Gawd, he makes me SO mad with his immature behavior and his incoherent yapping. And go suck up to the Barca fans by kissing the badge on your spanking new jersey when you haven’t even started playing for them yet. I’m sure they like that. Fool.

On another note, I’m missing my daily dose of Schweinski *sob* Why can’t they move to any of the EPL clubs (But please not manure or stinky kop)? Preferably together and preferably to Arsenal. Although that’s a bit hard, since Arsenal don’t have a lot of money to spend right now. And I’m sure Bayern will ask for A LOT of cash in exchange. But Klinsman is in charge now, so I don’t think they’d want to move out. Demmit! It’s hard to watch Bundesliga here. I don’t even watch the Spanish league since I’m not really a fan of them (sorry n3lldeco).

Ok so there’s a part 2 coming up.. But it’s not done yet.. Erm, there’s some things that need to be edited *uhuk uhuk* *grins*

ETA: Now that I think about it, the way Wilshere plays reminds me of Joe Cole. The way he dribbles the ball and the way he runs. So I’m not sure why the British press is calling him the English Fabregas. All I know is that, they should stop putting all this pressure on him. Arsenal fans should stop too. Look at what it did to Theo. Thank God he’s doing amazing again. Plus he’s a darling. I just hope Wilshere can shrugged off the critics and everything. And just play well so that AW will include him in the first 11 in the near future.

Just got back from the Chelsea match. And it was kind of awesome. The game was quite good, and the atmosphere was amazing! This was my first time watching a football match live.. and seeing the Chelsea players in person! *Wheee* It was very exciting. We (me and n3lldeco) kept screaming (and freaking out) like crazy every time we caught a glimpse of certain players (Deco for n3lldeco [duh~] and mostly Terry & Lampsie for me). No don’t get me wrong, my team will always be Arsenal. Always. But I kind of want to see Terry, Lampsie, Cech, Ballack, Ferreira, Deco and co. in person. I mean, when do you get the chance to actually do that? Unless you live in England.

I like that when they came out, Terry, J.Cole, SWP and Anelka kicked a soccer ball each to the crowd. But demmit, why kicked all the balls to the same section??! I want one too! *pouts*

Lampsie was kind of amazing. I like that move he made when he stole the ball from the M’sian player. So cool. And how cute was he after he helped Cashley Cole scored the second goal. And when he didn’t realize that he was the man of the match. That smile! Hee (I don’t blame him. I couldn’t even understand what the announcer was saying most of the time. All he did was mumble, mumble. Gah). And not forgetting Deco too. He was awesome. I think he didn’t stop running. n3lldeco was right. He reminded me of Ribery. In the France vs Holland (or was it Romania?) game. lol. And how cool was the combination between Lampsie and Deco during the corner kick? The M’sian goalkeeper managed to save the ball though. Great save btw.

The Malaysian team did quite good. I mean it was against a giant club from EPL. They managed to scare the Chelsea defenders. But as always they can’t perform in front of the net [Cech looked so lonely in the first half]. But I kind of feel that the Chelsea team were not playing up to their usual standard. The main reason is that they don’t want any injury (what with EPL season coming up very soon). And the fact that this is their third game in seven days. Not forgetting the HOT and HUMID weather. And the non-stop flights. Anyway, you should read the match report from the Chelsea official site. It stated that “Malaysia provided us with ‘the sternest test’ yet“. That is kind of cool coming from a big club like them.

Anyway, I haven’t got any pictures (that were taken during the match) to post here. It hasn’t been uploaded yet. Maybe tomorrow. Although I have to warn you, it’s kind of blurry. Meanwhile, lets enjoy these 2 funny(kind-of) pics taken by frequency from lowyat.net. He took this before the Chelsea training session on Monday evening (I didn’t even know there were training session until Monday night! Demmit!)

lol. Lampsie’s smelly feet. Poor Deco.

And I quote from someone from lowyat.net regarding the pictures –> “He really tak puas with Deco”. Hahahaha. And also –> “He must be calling his fiance to say, Man the pitch sucks and their national team’s training is even worse than Stoke City”. Wakakaka.

Also, this is the report from someone who went to the training session –> Anelka and Cashley Cole, couldn’t be bothered with the fans [Gah. I’ve always hated those two]. Lampard was friendly enough to look at the fans, smile, acknowledge and put a thumbs up. Deco was friendly. Joe Cole was terrific with the fans. Terry threw his shirt to the crowd [Aww, I wish I was there. Although, he did threw his jersey after the match. And some Indonesian guy caught it. Fuck].

Damn, I need to sleep. Freaking tired. Will add more (and the pictures) tomorrow, in case I forgot anything.

p/s - It was kind of hard to see the field most of the time cos some motherfucker with his big-clown head couldn’t sit his ass down. Fuck you. We wanted to push him down the drain, but we were too nice.

p/p/s - The mexican wave was really really really awesome.

p/p/p/s - Oh yeah, and Sheva kind of suck.

I’ve seen The Dark Knight twice already. Only cos I want to see the Joker. lol. And it was worth it. He made the movie awesome, IMO. He completely overshadowed Batman.

Um so… spoiler ahead.

LOVED: [1] All the Joker’s scenes — His stories of how he got his scars, his pencil “trick”, the nurse outfit (lol), when he skipped out of the hospital, when he first entered the room laughing, the way he tilt his head, when he was in the lorry shooting at the van carrying Dent [oh so cool], etc. [2] When Bruce came in with all the girls to the fund raiser and started his speech for Dent. [3] The way Bruce was jealous in the restaurant scene and he got all highty mighty. [4] The Rachel / Dent hostage scenes. I thought that was kind of cool. [5] The ferry hostage scene. [6] The way Batman got all furious with the Joker in the interrogation room. [7] The van / lorry chase scene. [8] When it was revealed that Gordon was in fact alive.

HATED: [1] Batman’s stupid voice. Before you get all pissy with me, I totally understand that Bruce changes his voice to conceal his identity. I just think that he was kind of overdoing it. It makes sense to disguise it, but it’s just TOO MUCH. It’s kind of distracting. [2] When Joker made the “You’re so beautiful” comment to Rachel. I felt bad for her for like a few nanoseconds (cos he was taunting her with his knife / razor) and then remembered that she is in fact NOT beautiful enough for Bruce fuckin’ Wayne or Harvey Dent [I had to laugh.. cos COME ON! It’s Bale! I do not believe for one second that someone who looks like Christian Bale, who’s also a billionaire, and Aaron Eckhart would fight over someone who looks like Maggie Gyllenhaal. Yes, I’m really shallow. Do you want to make something of it?]. After I remembered that, the ‘beautiful’ comment made me cringe. And it didn’t help that Joker kept repeating it.

OTHER NITPICKS: [1] There were way too many plot holes. It kind of lost its pace a few times. [2] Why didn’t they handcuffed the Joker when they were trying to save Dent & Rachel? Huh? Fools. [3] I felt that Gyllenhaal overplayed her part. Not that Katie is that good of an actress (cos she is not), but I thought she was kind of perfect for Rachel. And she’s kind of pretty. And Maggie? Is just average. Her acting ability did NOT “cancel” out her average look. Ya know? No? Ok, then. [4] The phone in that guy’s stomach. Eww. And it still works? WTH.

So I guess that’s it. Rant aside, I do think the movie was kind of awesome. It’s far from perfect, but it’s very enjoyable. So what are you waiting for? Go and see it.

And finally, it can’t be said enough.. “Why so SERIOUS?”

p/s - sorry for the lack of updates. I guess I was too lazy. lol. And oh yeah, this coming weekend I’m going on vacay to Tioman. *Wheee*
