Just got back from the Chelsea match. And it was kind of awesome. The game was quite good, and the atmosphere was amazing! This was my first time watching a football match live.. and seeing the Chelsea players in person! *Wheee* It was very exciting. We (me and n3lldeco) kept screaming (and freaking out) like crazy every time we caught a glimpse of certain players (Deco for n3lldeco [duh~] and mostly Terry & Lampsie for me). No don’t get me wrong, my team will always be Arsenal. Always. But I kind of want to see Terry, Lampsie, Cech, Ballack, Ferreira, Deco and co. in person. I mean, when do you get the chance to actually do that? Unless you live in England.
I like that when they came out, Terry, J.Cole, SWP and Anelka kicked a soccer ball each to the crowd. But demmit, why kicked all the balls to the same section??! I want one too! *pouts*
Lampsie was kind of amazing. I like that move he made when he stole the ball from the M’sian player. So cool. And how cute was he after he helped Cashley Cole scored the second goal. And when he didn’t realize that he was the man of the match. That smile! Hee (I don’t blame him. I couldn’t even understand what the announcer was saying most of the time. All he did was mumble, mumble. Gah). And not forgetting Deco too. He was awesome. I think he didn’t stop running. n3lldeco was right. He reminded me of Ribery. In the France vs Holland (or was it Romania?) game. lol. And how cool was the combination between Lampsie and Deco during the corner kick? The M’sian goalkeeper managed to save the ball though. Great save btw.
The Malaysian team did quite good. I mean it was against a giant club from EPL. They managed to scare the Chelsea defenders. But as always they can’t perform in front of the net [Cech looked so lonely in the first half]. But I kind of feel that the Chelsea team were not playing up to their usual standard. The main reason is that they don’t want any injury (what with EPL season coming up very soon). And the fact that this is their third game in seven days. Not forgetting the HOT and HUMID weather. And the non-stop flights. Anyway, you should read the match report from the Chelsea official site. It stated that “Malaysia provided us with ‘the sternest test’ yet“. That is kind of cool coming from a big club like them.
Anyway, I haven’t got any pictures (that were taken during the match) to post here. It hasn’t been uploaded yet. Maybe tomorrow. Although I have to warn you, it’s kind of blurry. Meanwhile, lets enjoy these 2 funny(kind-of) pics taken by frequency from lowyat.net. He took this before the Chelsea training session on Monday evening (I didn’t even know there were training session until Monday night! Demmit!)
lol. Lampsie’s smelly feet. Poor Deco.
And I quote from someone from lowyat.net regarding the pictures –> “He really tak puas with Deco”. Hahahaha. And also –> “He must be calling his fiance to say, Man the pitch sucks and their national team’s training is even worse than Stoke City”. Wakakaka.
Also, this is the report from someone who went to the training session –> Anelka and Cashley Cole, couldn’t be bothered with the fans [Gah. I’ve always hated those two]. Lampard was friendly enough to look at the fans, smile, acknowledge and put a thumbs up. Deco was friendly. Joe Cole was terrific with the fans. Terry threw his shirt to the crowd [Aww, I wish I was there. Although, he did threw his jersey after the match. And some Indonesian guy caught it. Fuck].
Damn, I need to sleep. Freaking tired. Will add more (and the pictures) tomorrow, in case I forgot anything.
